this is a review of nuances a Dragon speech recognition software
today is day three, the new me! I thought I was the typer, I thought I was good with computers, I thought I had a good website going that was putting out good content. My website never really got the amount of traffic that I wanted to because I never really was able to put out enough content to keep up with everything. Then I broke down and went out and actually purchased Dragon, this software that does speech recognition, transcription. It has changed my life!
I get more done with Dragon software in 10 min. than I would in an hour just typing.
This isn’t just a review of Dragon software, this is a testimonial to how powerful it is and how it actually did change my life. From day one! There wasn’t really much I needed to learn about how to use Dragon software. I learned that on my full keyboard over by the numbers whenever you press the plus button that turns on the dragon microphone. I learned that when I am speaking and I want to punctuate my sentences all I need to do is say the word “period” or say the word “comma” and Dragon will automatically put in that punctuation.
Does Dragon software actually work 99% accuracy
I don’t know if I would give it 99% accuracy… But it has to be pretty darn close. The only things that Dragon really tends to mess up on is going to be names, or if you are in a business that has a funky name that sounds kind of funny you’re kind of weird. But even if he you are someone who continually talks about your company or product or service by name Dragon has the ability for you to teach it how to type those names into your software program. Or if you’re somebody that talks in a lot of technical terms or if you’re a coder somebody who’s a programmer and actually is writing code then Dragon might miss those up as well but again Dragon has changed my life and this isn’t just a testimonial about the product it’s a raving review of how great this product it!!!
Actually now that I think about it yes I do believe 99% accuracy for Dragon speech dictation software.
Writing articles, writing blog posts, writing e-mails, even doing Instant Messenger or chat. Dragon works for me it allows me to just speak and it writes it down faster than I ever could type it out plus not getting carpal tunnel syndrome anymore I used to really feel like I was torquing my wrists and I went out and spent $100 on one of those very ergonomic keyboards and the huge ergonomic mouse my mouse is massive it cost $130 and it still would make my wrist hurt after a day of sitting there and typing and using the computer in that fashion.
one last thing, there are a lot of people out there and websites out there that will promote any product that they feel can make them some money and while yes I did become an affiliate of the company which produces Dragon software. I don’t think a day will go by that I don’t use the software. I’m a believer. It has changed the way in which I will do business and made it so much easier for me to produce content which hopefully helps a lot of people. how to create videos using a green screen
Using a green screen when creating a video will give your videos a much more professional look and also give you the ability to show off their products, diagrams, or more easily put in what is commonly referred to as word pops. You do not need a green screen in order create a lower third. I say lower third I’m simply referring to the lower one third of the screen which typically new stations used to display data or it would pop up and say the person’s name typically lower thirds also don’t stay there forever a lot of times lower verbal pop up and then say what needs to say and then go away.
Here are my top five green screen tips
1. You do not need to have a full body green screen.
Most people that are producing their own videos and are either marketing or trying to promote a certain political view or some type of way religious message. And you know that your videos going to be viewed almost exclusively online. Online viewers do not need to see the lower part of your body. Online viewers do not need to see your shoes. When filming with a green screen, most people should just shoot the top half of a person’s body. When putting a video online remember the video is only going to be at most in full-screen mode 12 inches tall… Maybe? Most of the time if it’s in bed into a website it’s only 3 inches tall and 4 inches wide. In order to connect with the audience they want to be able to see your eyes. If you film in a full body green screen your eyes are the equivalent of one pixel you’re not going to have this same effect of connecting with your audience.
2. When filming with a green screen more light is typically better
the idea is that your computer program whichever one you’re going to be using is going to be keying out the green and so you want your brain to be as green as it can be. Also whatever colors your actor is wearing should pop as well. I think it should go without saying that the actor cannot wear green. Investing in some additional light is a great way to create a higher quality green screen video.
3. Have enough room that your actor isn’t standing with her back directly against the green screen
if an actor is standing too close to the green screen and you have lights pointing directly on them that actors going to create shadows and the shadows will not have time to dissipate or blur. This makes the keying out process a little bit more difficult for your computer. If you’re not running a program like after effects or one that has a lot of different settings to be able to customize the effect. Then you need to make sure that you are doing everything in your power to help your computer produce a high quality video while keying out the background.
4. having a good microphone is essential to creating a good video
I know that we are talking about green screen but I think that it is a good point to make that most people who create videos seem to really not care too much about the audio and yet the audio is one of the most important parts to any good video. If you can’t hear the person, if you can’t hear their enunciation is in their words. Then what good is the video? All the great graphics in the world won’t overcome poor audio. I personally invested around $800 and my wireless microphone. There are much cheaper versions are ways in which you could do this. But is that important.
5. Types of programs that I’ve used in order to key out the background of my Green Screen
I have used iMovie, with the iLife plug-in. This program is great for your beginners… It works well and eliminates the need for tweaking your green screen settings in order to produce great-looking videos. This comes for free with any new purchase Mac. ILife is a extra expansion which must be purchased in order to create green screen videos. If you start taking this to the next level and you have the money to spend I highly recommend getting after effects. In after effects you can crop out the person once you have dropped away the background and move that person or resize that person on your video canvas.

for example I was watching a show called the shark tank. This lady walks in there and she has a product which helps train cats to go to the bathroom in a toilet. Now I thought that was kind of weird but it was creative, and she stunned these investors with her product because it never really heard of something like that before. She was asking for a good bit of money which they were reluctant to make her any offers. Until, one of the investors asked how many of these things have you actually sold? And she said that she’d arty sold over 100,000 of them or some rather large number. She did all her sales online. At which point the investors started falling over themselves offering her different versions of a deal.

the story is about a company that created a brush for your tongue to help you eliminate bad breath. The gentleman went to a marketing class at school Dr. Bob, and the marketing class came back to him and said hey 98% of the people are not going to be interested in buying your product. so we don’t think that you should try to sell the oral brush. But one marketing student said well that is 8% that might be interested in it, which is actually millions of people. So Dr. Bob in this young college aged marketing student went out and they spent a few hundred dollars to build a video and put it onto YouTube and from there I’m going to just ask you to play the video below because it shares the story far more effectively than I can.
