This has to be one of the greatest lies or excuse me greatest lines ever invented in network marketing. Sometimes it’s true but if you take a survey out there I think you’ll find more times then not you have one super star recruiter who promises you all kinds of help and wonderful training up until the point when you actually sign up.
Where did it go? Where is the help, actually assisting the MLM’er to help them understand how to run a successful business, how to market themselves. HOW to make this Amazing concept of leverage and compounding efforts actually work!?

First of all, you shouldn’t have to pay for some basic help and advice. You should be able to find it online. You’re here looking. I hope that you sign up for the NonPerishable Marketing Tips Tricks and Tactics. It’s FREE, some basic good info. It works if you work it.
If you don’t use the internet much yet, Get started! You should be adding at least 5 to 10 friends a day on facebook and posting a link to your splash page EVERY day on Facebook.
Posting Everyday to Facebook, Craigslist, BackPage, Twitter is a good start. Don’t post a million things in one day, post a few every day. If you need to make multiple accounts, do it. 15 minutes first thing Every Morning will help you grow your business. But posting stuff alone isn’t enough. If you have contacts phone numbers, FOLLOW UP. Call them and remind them about the meeting, webinar, conference call.

Also you need to stay with a business for 6 months+ before you can have any reasonable ability to determine if the business is a viable income generator. WELL… There is one rule you need to know first.
1. Do you like, and trust the people your building the business with. If not, INTERVIEW YOUR UPLINE. Find someone else. I know it’s a terrible thing to say, but someone has to! When you go to work for a company, you want to know about the company as much as they want to know about you. When you join a team, you should know what they bring to the table as much as they know what your bringing. It just makes sense.
2. Does the company have a product or service that is…
A: Universal. Can a kid 8 years old use it? Can Grandma?
B: Is it competitively priced in the market place? Can I buy said products or services through “my own business” and actually be getting a good deal, or am I paying 150 dollars for some juice or “enhanced water” which I can purchase through GNC for a tenth of the cost. If you’re paying 10 times or even double the cost you can currently buy the merchandise on the open market for. RUN!!!
3. Does the company make it easy for you to sell.
I had done some work with one company selling cell phone service prior to finding out about Zoom Mobile and it was a great company, awesome comp plan, the whole thing just made sense. Then you were never shown their website until you were emotionally ready to sign up. At that point, they fliped around the computer and pulled out a credit card swiper, had paper work, and then told you that THIS was the actual website which looked like it was from the 1980′s.
You are told, see all those trees. You get paid 100 bucks for every tree you cut down. Then you might have another company that says, we only pay 75$ for every tree you cut down.
Which company are you going to work for?
Now what if I said, the company paying $100 is giving you an old rusty axe… but the company paying 75$ gives you a brand new jedi light saber. NOW which company are you going to work for. You see, you NEED TO EVALUATE.

Are you a leader? You should know yourself… a good sign that you are a leader… is if you already have a following. Don’t try to be and do everything. The BEST LEADERS KNOW HOW TO DELEGATE!
If you are going to lead your team to new financial successes you need to know who are you’re GO TO guys and girls. Who are the ones who have a venue you can use?
Who can present?
Who can build a website?
Who can cook? and is hospitable.
Who is good at orginizing?
Who already knows everyone in the community?
Placement?
Structure in MLM matters.
Let’s say you have a guy who’s late 50 early 60′s. Been around the block, knows everyone in the community and has a following so to speak but hasn’t really ever done MLM or been successful with it. But like we said, this guy has a roladex… that’s a old school paper device that stores your contacts… that has thousands of names in it.
THEN you have a young gun, organized, determined and willing to help but lacking in the contacts department. Who should join who’s business?
What makes the most sense. Putting the young guy in the older guys business or the older guy in the younger guys business?
Everyones logic is different here but I’d say. Let the young guy take top position and then have the person with all those contacts and relationships join his business. WHY YOU ASK? because I think that the young buck should be put to work by the older guy. They both stillmake their money but this way you don’t have as much of the ME ME ME mentality that could occor. This way you have a much more fluid, and logical help others system.
This is another Great Question. I have an opinion… just like anyone else.
No. with an unless…
IF you are spending time, and giving away your ideas, and teaching other people who are actually competing against you… then your wasting your time when it comes to making money in the here and now. UNLESS… They become a part of your following. Helping someone and not monatarily benifiting from it is a sure fire way to establish trust and build report. Especially if you have other revenue streams…
Example: I get paid from various other affiliate programs. If I suggest to my entire following that using a program, dialer, system or even reading a book is a good idea and I have an affiliate link they can click to purchase said product. While it won’t help me build my MLM business for the HUGE money. It might still put some cash in your pocket.
Just Please don’t neglect your Down line in order to help Cross line.Your business partners in Your orginization, your downline. They should be your top priority when it comes to helping out.
NOTE: I find that having a Email drip, eductation system like the one found on this site NonPerishableMarketing.com is a great way to help cross line with out depleting the ONLY resource we all have the same amount of which is Time.
If you don’t have a website, aren’t on YouTube yet I think you are doing yourself a Great Dis-Service.
My YouTube videos work 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and they never Ever get tired, ask for a raise, complain or screw up the pitch. PLUS, they compound because I never take down old content unless it becomes irrelevant. Keeping your videos some what generic is generally a good idea too because it makes the compounding efforts of your videos that much more effective.

In closing the MOST important thing to do when Network Marketing is…
BE YOURSELF! and remember you need to get out of your comfort zone sometimes and actually go out and recruit. Make some fliers, pass them out at the beach, the mall or where ever. Make some calls to old friends, business partners, Employees, employers, relatives, or whatever.
basically it just means, how do I stay at the front of someone’s mind. So let’s say for example I clean carpets, how do I take position as the first person or first business a person thinks about when they need to get their carpets cleaned… Think about it? Who do you think about… I think of a little jingle by “stanley steamer the carpet cleaner”
If you don’t have an ongoing marketing budget and a professional little jingle, I submit to you that emailing someone every couple of days is a pretty cost effective way. Aweber allows us to do what I call an email bleed or email drip.
