Roomba Product Review: Robot Vacuum Cleaner

The Roomba 560 Product Review:

This little Vacuum is amazing. I Love it, because I hate having to constantly pull out the vacuum and sweep the carpet or vacuum the floors. The video really says it all, but here is the meat of everything I’d say about this device.

1. Is the Irobot Roomba worth it?

YES! Consider that if you buy a different high end vacuum you’re going to spend at least this amount of money if not more. You aren’t going to use it every day like I use my Roomba, because I can set it to sweep the floor based on a timer everyday.

2. Does the Irobot Roomba work?

As shown in the video, Absolutely. This little thing goes under the beds, under the couches, tables, everthing, and does a much better job of actually cleaning then most push vacuums because it is small and can easily fit under furniture. The fact is, humans clean what we can see, the robot vacuum cleans ever where it can go. Which means less dirt flying around your home getting kicked up ever time your AC turns on. Cleaner air is never a bad thing.

3. How to maintain the Irobot Roomba.

Maintaining a machine is probably the most important part of anything. Where there is moving parts, dust, dirt, and grime there will be a need to clean it. Plus if dust and dirt take up space and have weight to it, well it has to go some where. While cleaning it all goes into your robot cleaner. But then over time, actually pretty much every time your robot cleans, it needs you for one thing. CLEAN OUT the bin, and make sure their is nothing cut on those little brushes. That’s it, it takes an hour to vacuum your home. It takes maybe 7 minutes to clean your robot twice.

TOMA: or Top of mind awareness

basically it just means, how do I stay at the front of someone’s mind. So let’s say for example I clean carpets, how do I take position as the first person or first business a person thinks about when they need to get their carpets cleaned… Think about it? Who do you think about… I think of a little jingle by “stanley steamer the carpet cleaner”

How to market on a small to none existent budget

If you don’t have an ongoing marketing budget and a professional little jingle, I submit to you that emailing someone every couple of days is a pretty cost effective way.  Aweber allows us to do what I call an email bleed or email drip.
